About IslandNet

From City Wi-Fi to IslandNet.

Ten years of serving customers taught us what the Federation really needs. So we rebuilt — bigger network, better technology, same local people.

Where we started

A rooftop, a radio and a promise.

City Wi-Fi started in 2016 with a simple observation: plenty of homes and small businesses were being left on the edge of the network. We climbed roofs, ran cable and connected them anyway — and then stayed close enough to answer the phone when something went wrong.

Over ten years, that closeness became our advantage. We learned which areas lose power first, which businesses cannot afford a minute offline, and how a household really uses its connection at seven o'clock in the evening.

Our evolution

How we became IslandNet.

2016

City Wi-Fi begins

A small local team starts connecting homes that larger providers were not reaching, one rooftop at a time.

2016 – 2025

Ten years of listening

A decade of installations, service calls and conversations teaches us exactly what island homes and businesses actually need.

2025

Significant investment

New sites, fibre routes, redundant power and monitoring systems are built out to carry far more than a neighbourhood network.

2026

IslandNet

The same people, a far bigger horizon: a technology-driven operator serving Saint Kitts and Nevis across the Federation.

The vision

Revolutionising internet service at home.

Our founder's view has never changed: island customers deserve the same quality of connection and the same quality of service as anywhere else in the world — delivered by people who live here.

That is why IslandNet keeps investing in technology instead of coasting: symmetrical capacity, redundant power on every site, continuous monitoring, US IP addressing, a customer app that actually does something useful, and a support team that acts before customers have to chase. City Wi-Fi served an area. IslandNet is built to serve the Federation.

Rooted locally

Built for the communities, terrain and weather of Saint Kitts and Nevis.

Technology driven

We keep upgrading the network rather than waiting for it to fail.

A loyal customer base grown on service, not advertising.
